Dennis Horton and Son | Skoda Lincoln | About Us
Dennis Horton & Son Ltd was founded by Dennis and Mary Horton at Washingborough, Lincoln in 1954.
Now into its third generation, having been managed by Steve, son of Dennis and Mary, the reins have been passed to Oliver, (the elder son of Steve and Sue). It remains an independent family-owned garage business and is one of the longest serving Skoda dealerships in the UK, having held the franchise since 1990. While the company has experienced many changes over the years, customer care has always been the key to its continued success with the brand and Horton Skoda has already been a recipient of the brand's prestigious 'Best Dealer' award.
The dealership's entire team has been comprehensively trained and understands the strength of its family origins. As a result, no matter which member of our team you speak with, their friendly, honest and helpful advice, whether you are buying a new car or a new tail-lamp bulb, will shine through.
Our Lincoln dealership was constructed in 2004 and follows the most up-to-date Skoda style. Viewed from the outside, it is not dissimilar to most well-designed and modern motor dealerships. However, once you enter the premises, the differences become abundantly clear.
You can call it an attitude or a spirit but, whatever you decide, it has made Horton Skoda one of the leading dealers in the UK. While today's Skoda message underscores 'Happy People', we have always maintained that standard regardless. In fact, every single element of our garage is focused on placing our customers' needs first.
In an era of dealerships being annexed by large national and international organisations, the family-owned outlet has teetered on the brink of becoming an endangered species. Rest assured, there are no such pressing issues at Horton Skoda and we remain immensely proud of our local standing. Our company mission statement is 'To Provide the Very Best Customer Service in a Friendly and Efficient Manner'.
When you visit our dealership, you can discover the difference for yourself.
